Since 1992, MPACT (Monroe Public Access Cable Television) has always believed in the power of local media and giving individuals the tools to tell their own stories, whether that’s through a radio show, podcast, cable TV, or documentary film.
Our work is more important now than ever. Local stories and creative voices are the lifeblood of communities. And so, we have decided to change our name and logo to better reflect our commitment to you.
We are now Monroe Community Media.
If you look closely, our logo takes on a silo shape, paying homage to the agricultural roots of this county. Honoring our history while looking to the future is how we, as a community, can approach storytelling.
We hope you will join us as Monroe Community Media members in the new year. We have a good feeling about what’s to come.

What does an annual MCM membership look like these days?
For Individuals: $30 Adults , $20 Students (Must be a resident of Monroe County)
Access to all studio spaces and equipment for podcasts, radio shows, and video productions.
Scheduled air time for your original content on Rewind 94.3 and MCM’s public cable channel.
Up to 10 hours of Equipment-use Workshops with MCM staff.
Adobe Creative Suite available to all members in the editing lab.
Discounted studio and equipment rentals for commercial content.
For Nonprofits: $200 (Must be based in Monroe County)
Access to all studio spaces and equipment for podcasts, radio shows, and video productions.
10 hours of Equipment-use Workshops with MCM staff for your team of up to 5 individuals.
Adobe Creative Suite available to all members in our editing lab.
Up to twelve 60-second PSA’s on air (Rewind 94.3 and Cable).
Discounted studio and equipment rentals for commercial content.
Annual Branding & Social Media Workshop with MCM staff.

Providing media education to Monroe County remains our top priority. We want you to know that this is your public access center. We welcome all people, no matter your age, background, interests, or experience.
We continue to air our Public, Educational, and Government channels on Comcast and Spectrum (formerly Charter) broadcasting, and WERW-FM (94.3). Our content is also available at MPACT Studio - YouTube and streamed from www.mpactstudio.org using your Smart TV, ROKU, computer, or mobile device with the Cablecast App.
